us to register our domain and hosting of this website
Where The Pioneers Are Not Forgotten
We are are a non profit organisation managed
by a committee This committee consists of approx 30 members
which includes farmers & retirees, and village people, it
has a close spirit of friendship ,co-operation& participation
which make it such a success.
The committee was formed at a well attended
local meeting , after a huge Millewa district schools reunion
where 3000 people attended & all wanted some type of commemorative
central meeting place ,hence The Millewa Community Pioneer
Forest was born, & now consists of 12 hectares of local
bushland established in 1986, and houses The Millewa Pioneer
Village .
Best practise of environmental management
, & ongoing committment has created a pleasant bush surrounding
which has allowed us to obtain numerous awards
. We work to a previously prepared Management Plan & Mission
Statement
